I had my official preop visit with my surgeon and had all my preadmitting testing done. My nerves are starting to build now. I am not "scared" per se, I'm just a little nervous. I had lots of questions that were either answered by my PCP, my surgeon, or other patients through my support group. I am really thankful for the people I have supporting me and for my husband.
Tonight is my last "good meal" and tomorrow starts the clear liquid preop diet; I have to do it for two days rather than one because of my stomach not emptying. Wish me luck!
